Хромосомоцентричний підхід до подолання труднощів у реалізації міжнародного проекту «Протеом людини»

Міжнародний проект «Протеом людини» (ППЛ), який є логічним продовженням проекту «Геном людини», розпочато 23 вересня 2010 року. Згідно з геноцентричним підходом метою ППЛ є підготовка каталогу всіх протеїнів людини і розшифрування шляхів їх взаємодії. Труднощі реалізації ППЧ виникають внаслідок того, що сам об’єкт дослідження – протеом­ – набагато складніше геному. Головною проб­лемою є недостатня чутливість протеомних методів, яка не дозволяє детектувати низько- і ультранизькокопірувальні протеїни. Погане відтворювання протеомних методів і відсутність так званого «золотого стандарту» є другою основною складністю в реалізації ППЛ. Третя проблема – це динамічний характер протеома, його нестабільність у часі. У статті розглядаються можливі варіанти подолання цих складностей, які є перепоною успішному виконанню ППЛ.
